Job Description
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - Full-time
Thurs 6a-6p and Fri/Sat 6p-630a (Weekend premium!!)

Job Responsibilities
- Administer medications per the medication administration record (MAR) and as directed.
- Provide treatments as directed.
- Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents assessment and care plan and as may be directed by your supervisors
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned by nursing management
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth personal interest and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment
- Always exercise courtesy whenever residents family members and visitors are present
- Demonstrate pride in Valley View by keeping areas clean and safe
- Demonstrate ongoing responsibility and commitment through good attendance and by being on time to work
- Respect the privacy and dignity of residents
Job Qualifications
- Previous job experience preferred but not required
- Must be a current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the State of Kansas
- Must be a current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the State of Kansas
- Must have current CPR for Health Care Providers
- Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work within deadlines
- Must be able to maintain a courteous friendly and helpful attitude with residents visitors and co-workers at all times
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs
