We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our critical care team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in adult bedside care and experience in intensive care acute care or emergency settings. The therapist will play a key role in managing complex respiratory needs in a hospital-based environment including invasive and non-invasive ventilation oxygen therapy and advanced airway management.

Experience:
Minimum of 1 2 years of recent bedside critical care experience in a hospital setting
Specialty experience in one or more of the following areas:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Acute Care Floors
Emergency Room (ER)
Licensure and Certifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or equivalent
Active state license to practice respiratory therapy in South Carolina
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred (not required)
Perform and manage invasive ventilation via endotracheal or tracheostomy tubes
Familiarity with ventilator modes: PRVC SIMV VC PSV CPAP PCV
Manage non-invasive ventilation: BiPAP CPAP AVAPS
Assist with intubation and perform extubation procedures
Administer high-flow nasal cannula therapy
Manage Venturi masks non-rebreathers and aerosol trach collars
Administer specialty gases: Heliox Inhaled Nitric Oxide
Deliver bronchodilators corticosteroids and mucolytics via:
MDI (Metered Dose Inhaler)
HHN (Handheld Nebulizer)
DPI (Dry Powder Inhaler)
Provide chest physiotherapy and cough assist
Utilize PEP devices and suction techniques:
Tracheostomy tube suction
Endotracheal tube (ETT) suction
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws from radial and brachial sites
Interpret ABG results accurately
Evaluate respiratory rate pattern and effort
Assess breath sounds and chest expansion
Monitor oxygen saturation and perform detailed airway assessments
