Our software optimizes the control of heating systems in residential buildings helping to fight climate change. By digitalizing and automating control processes we reduce both emissions and energy consumption actively driving forward the energy transition.
As a Senior Software Developer youll join our Platforms Team and help bring our product vision to life:
Emitting less gaining more: Transform residential buildings into auto-optimising CO-neutral assets.
Youll play a key role in improving and streamlining internal collaboration by building internal tools that automate and simplify cross-team processes.
Tasks
- Write software implementing features and changes end-to-end covering the database model backend and frontend code.
- Collaborate with your team to understand underlying problems and requirements.
- Contribute to team planning by helping define tasks priorities and timelines.
Requirements
- Solid educational background ideally a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Solid experience across frontend and backend especially with TypeScript Python
- Proficiency in at least one modern language: TypeScript Python Go or Rust
- Familiarity with SQL or the energy sector is a plus
- Ability to write high-quality production-ready code
- Able to take responsibility and work closely with other engineers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Independent structured working style
- Fluent in both German and English
