Tasks
- Process and review invoices accurately and in a timely manner ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor account balances to ensure payments are up to date.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments.
- Assist in month-end closing by preparing journal entries and supporting documentation for accounts payable activities.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions supporting documentation and correspondence.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
