Job Description
Title: Sr. Ruby on Rails Developer
Duration: Long Term
Onsite at any of the below locations:Plano TX / Kennesaw GA/ Pennington NJ / Charlotte NC /Atlanta GA
Skill Metrics
Ruby on Rails Sinatra Restful APIs AWS Angular PostgreSQL JSON React
Required Skills:
- 3 years of professional experience in Ruby including production use of Rails and Sinatra
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design JSON serialization and background job processing
- Experience with Redis as a cache and job queue (e.g. Resque Sidekiq)
- Proficient with AWS services (especially ECS ECR SQS IAM roles secrets management)
- Familiarity with deploying and managing applications on Heroku
- Solid understanding of containerized development and deployment using Docker
- Comfortable with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and ORMs (ActiveRecord)
- Ability to write clear well-tested and well-documented code
