Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement age-appropriate learning activities.
- Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social and emotional development.
- Assist children in developing their fine and gross motor skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Assess and document children s progress through observation.
- Encourage curiosity and exploration among children.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to provide an enriching curriculum.
- Integrate educational technology into the classroom experience.
- Facilitate group activities to promote teamwork and cooperation.
- Provide individualized attention to children as needed.
- Participate in professional development workshops.
- Prepare reports on children s developmental needs and achievements.
- Handle classroom behavior in a constructive manner.
- Plan and participate in classroom events and parent-teacher meetings.
- Keep up-to-date with early childhood education trends and practices.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Proven experience working with young children.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans.
- Creative and resourceful approach to teaching.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic understanding of child health and safety regulations.
- Experience with classroom management strategies.
- Commitment to nurturing a positive learning environment.
- Flexibility in adapting to changing classroom dynamics.
- Familiarity with common educational technology tools.
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Patience and empathy towards children s needs.
