Job Description
TPF Recruitment is working with a respected and growing accountancy firm in Reading currently seeking an Accounts Senior to strengthen their team. This is a key role offering exposure to a broad range of clients and responsibilities across financial reporting tax compliance and cloud-based bookkeeping.
This opportunity would suit a qualified (ACA/ACCA/AAT) or experienced accounting professional looking to step into a client-focused position with real scope for development. Responsibilities:
This opportunity would suit a qualified (ACA/ACCA/AAT) or experienced accounting professional looking to step into a client-focused position with real scope for development. Responsibilities:
- Preparing year-end financial statements for limited companies partnerships and sole traders
- Supporting the production of management accounts for key clients
- Preparing and submitting corporate tax personal tax and VAT returns
- Handling day-to-day bookkeeping primarily using Xero and QuickBooks
- Guiding and supporting junior team members helping them develop their technical skills
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a UK accountancy practice
- ACA or ACCA qualified would be an advantage. AAT qualified and qualified by experience will be considered for candidates with circa 5 years relevant practice experience.
- Solid understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Experience using cloud accounting platforms
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to excellent client service
Benefits
- Salary circa 40000 - 50000 per annum depending on experience and qualification status.
