Senior Cost Accountant
Vancouver BC Full-Time On-Site
$80000 - $90000/year Bonus Benefits Included

HireNow Staffing is seeking a detail-driven Senior Cost Accountant for a full-time opportunity based in Vancouver. If youre passionate about inventory accuracy cost control and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes this could be your next move.
The Opportunity:
As the Senior Cost Accountant youll play a key role in how inventory is evaluated and reported. Working closely with operations logistics and finance leadership youll help establish sound cost structures support ERP development and provide data-driven insights that influence planning and profitability.
What Youll Be Doing:

Manage and review month-end and year-end inventory cost evaluations
-
Ensure materials and supplies are accurately tracked and valued
-
Collaborate with production shipping and receiving to align real-time costs
-
Lead inventory cycle counts and support audits with accurate documentation
-
Help implement and fine-tune inventory modules within the ERP system
-
Prepare cost analyses and contribute to financial reporting processes
What You Bring:
-
At least 2 years of experience in a cost accounting role (preferably in manufacturing or processing environments)
-
CPA CMA CGA designation or active enrollment in a CPA track
-
Strong Excel skills with comfort handling large datasets and pivot tables
-
Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory workflows
-
Clear communicator who can work across departments and explain financial data to non-finance teams
-
Problem-solver with a hands-on attitude and sharp attention to detail
Nice to Have:

Background in food production seafood processing or similar industries
-
Experience supporting ERP system implementations or upgrades
-
A team-oriented mindset with an eagerness to support operations
