Applications Engineer - ServiceNow
Remote Preferred Base: Los Angeles (or NY DC Orange County Houston Dallas)
$100000 - $130000 DOE Full-Time Direct Hire
Are you a hands-on ServiceNow expert ready to step into a high-visibility role
HireNow Staffing is seeking an Applications Engineer to help shape and support a top-tier global IT environment. In this role youll manage maintain and evolve a mission-critical ServiceNow platform serving as a core player in optimizing ITSM and ITOM operations across the enterprise.
What Youll Own
Youll balance both the backend and user-facing sides of the ServiceNow platform ensuring stability while leading forward-thinking enhancements and integration projects.
Core Responsibilities:

Handle platform administration version upgrades patch cycles and configuration
-
Design and implement system improvements using ServiceNow best practices
-
Ensure operational uptime of MID Servers and associated integrations
-
Act as a primary resource for user support troubleshooting and maintenance
-
Partner with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into actionable solutions
-
Develop meaningful dashboards and reporting tools for various departments
-
Assist in governance and compliance related to security standards (ISO 27001/2)
-
Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business process owners
-
Contribute to Agile/Scrum-based sprint planning and backlog grooming
What You Bring
-
Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
-
4 years of deep ServiceNow experience across ITSM/ITOM functions
-
Strong architectural understanding of the ServiceNow ecosystem
-
Experience working across multi-disciplinary IT teams in an enterprise environment
-
Excellent documentation stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
Extra Points If You Have

ServiceNow HAM Pro experience
-
Knowledge of CSDM Discovery Service Mapping or CMDB management
-
Familiarity with ITIL concepts and process workflows
-
Prior experience in regulated environments or ISO-compliant orgs
