What Youll Do
As a Mechanical Engineer on the team youll have ownership over the design and delivery of HVAC and mechanical systems across complex building projects. From concept to construction administration youll work closely with architects consultants and internal stakeholders to develop smart code-compliant and energy-efficient solutions.
Key Duties:
Develop and refine HVAC designs hydronic systems and ductwork layouts
Create construction documents for renovations additions and new builds
Apply mechanical and energy codes to project documentation and calculations
Support construction administration tasks: RFIs site visits submittal reviews
Collaborate with architects engineers and consultants across multiple disciplines
Review quality control feedback and implement drawing updates
Assist in developing and maintaining project specifications
Stay engaged with the latest trends and technologies in building systems
What Youll Need
Bachelors degree in mechanical or architectural engineering (ABET-accredited) At least 3 years of professional engineering experience Proficiency in HVAC systems design (including hydronic systems and ductwork) Experience in healthcare education or commercial construction projects Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) FE certification Proficiency in Revit Microsoft Office and Trane Trace Strong communication and organizational skills Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
