Key Accountabilities
Leads a team ensuring members receive adequate training support and development opportunities
Accountable for ensuring appropriate utilization workload planning and forecasting
Implements programs to improve the quality of service products and systems to meet clients requirements and maximize the teams competitive position
Promote quality issues with all team members and ensure that the quality control function is effectively performedand embedded as a standard in the team
Act as the team representative and maintain good relationships with clients project stakeholders associations government bodies and other entities
Is an active role model for team and office culture and promotes an inclusive workplace
Builds and manages their own key clients and monitors key pursuits/opportunities
Contributes to GO/NO-GO decisions with the mindset of growing the business
Monitors and assists with keeping team performance at or above the annual plan
Is a discipline lead on projects with minimal peer/technical support required
Leads the development of winning / high quality project proposals for complex projects
Knowledge

Workload Forecasting and Planning
Client Management
Technical knowledge:
Expert understanding of policies practices research and trends relevant to the sustainable built environment
Expert understanding of the sources of and strategies for reducing energy and emissions at building portfolio campus and/or broader scales
Extensive experience building spreadsheet models/tools for building/portfolio/community energy/emissions analysis
Expert understanding of financial assessment methodologies (LCCA)
Holistic understanding of global sustainable issues including current leaders and best practices in net-zero energy/emissions and low-carbon resilient buildings and/or communities
Experience in conducting research and analysis of climate change and sustainability issues as they apply to the built environment specifically
Qualifications and Experience
8 years consulting experience in building/portfolio decarbonization and/or climate policy/planning
Has led a team / been the technical lead for high impact/responsibility projects
University degree college/technology diploma in Engineering Planning or related
Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment we have provided the base compensation range of$109400 - $136700 annually for this position and local market.
