Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading international financial institution with a strong presence in North America Europe and Asia. Their Montreal technology team supports mission-critical banking systems across trading risk and operations.
We are seeking an experienced ALMT Support Analyst / Engineer to join their Application Production Support division. In this role you will ensure the stability and performance of essential applications used in treasury and liquidity management. Key Responsibilities
Level 1 & 2 Production Support
- Actively monitor production activities and perform remediation steps
- Resolve incidents or escalate to Level 3 as needed
- Interface with external IT teams to coordinate resolution
- Log activities in tracking systems and help reduce recurring issues
- Provide after-hours and weekend support when necessary
Change & Request Management
Oversee changes to production environments for multiple applications
- Coordinate release prioritization with development teams
- Ensure change requests comply with internal policies and procedures
- Participate in after-hours deployments when needed
Reporting & Special Projects
Participate in project elaboration and readiness planning
- Conduct reporting and analysis of production controls
- Take ownership of special projects and process improvements
Requirements
7 years of experience as a Functional Support Analyst or in a similar role
- Background in banking or financial services environments
- Knowledge of financial products (bonds IRS swaps)
- Experience supporting back-office settlements systems
- Professional working proficiency in English
Preferred Skills
Unix/Linux hands-on experience
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging (MT/MX)
- Experience with Oracle CFT Dynatrace
- Scripting and automation (Shell Autosys Ansible Tower Jenkins)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
