Overview
TITLE: Kettle Worker Bell Ringer - Seasonal
LOCATION: Norristown
REPORTS TO: Corps Officer
SALARY: $11 per hour non-exempt
SCHEDULE: Monday to Saturday; 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Flexible Hours); From November 11 2024 to December 24 2024
FUNCTION:The Kettle Worker is to assist with the annual Salvation Army kettle effort including standing kettles to collect donations and ensure that the kettle is protected until pick-up by the Corps Officer or official kettle personnel
Responsibilities
- Collects proceeds as directed from kettle donors.
- Collects proceeds from shoppers merchants and other donators.
- Informs Corps Officer of problems issues and complaints during the kettle season.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent Social skills a plus.
- Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by Delawares Beau Biden Law based on information found on the SBI and FBI Criminal Record Checks.
- Must have an understanding of and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
