Job Description
There are country clubs and then there are clubs that are also communities where families gather and friendships abound. Since 1964 Hunting Creek Country Club has been known for its congeniality as well as its gorgeous golf course nestled among the rolling hills of historic Prospect Kentucky just outside of Louisville.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- wash dishes at a fast pace.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure all ingredients are properly stored and labeled
- Maintain a clean and organized work area including washing dishes utensils and cooking equipment
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of all food served
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with the catering and banquet teams to ensure timely and efficient service
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
Skills:
- Kitchen operations: Ability to operate kitchen equipment follow recipes and execute cooking techniques
- Help: Willingness to assist other team members as needed including bussing tables or supporting catering events
- Cook: Proficiency in cooking various types of dishes following recipes and ensuring food quality
- Bussing: Ability to clear tables clean dining areas and maintain a neat appearance in the restaurant
- Food preparation: Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques such as chopping slicing and marinating
- Cleanliness: Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment following proper sanitation guidelines
- Hospitality: Understanding of customer service principles and ability to provide excellent service to guests
