Job Description

Location: Milan - Italy

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Specialist Leader (PSL) to join our project team for the Hail&Gasha EPC project for Adnoc. The successful candidate will be involved in tasks such as planningcoordination and execution of inspection engineering activities in accordance with industry standards and project-specific requirements.
The role demands a strong technical background proven coordination skills and a solid understanding of

Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodology as per API 581

Definition of corrosion loops and piping groups

Definition of Inspection Plans

Baseline inspection programs

Written Scheme of Examination definition

Relevant international codes such as API 510 API 570 API 571 and API 579.
The PSL will work closely with other Engineering Commissioning and Construction disciplines toensure robust inspection engineering activities are developed and implemented before to reach theMechanical Completion Certificate.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and liaise with the Client Inspection Engineering counterpart to ensure project execution remains within contractual boundaries and budget.
Supervise the work of external service providers.
Be responsible and accountable to the project manager for the inspection engineering scope of work ensuring compliance with the assigned project bud
Act as Team coordinator for multidisciplinary activities such as the baseline i

Lead the definition and execution of baseline inspections prior to commissioningensuring comprehensive condition documentation for future integrity monitoring.

Coordinate the execution of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) assessments in collaboration with materials and process teams to optimize inspection intervals and scope.

Ensure all inspection activities are aligned with regulatory requirements class rules and company HSE standards.
Interface with Inspection Management Systems (e.g. GE Meridium) to populate inspection plan and baseline inspection results.
Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer across the inspection team.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Materials Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in inspection engineering with significant exposure to
onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities.

Solid understanding of API 580/581 (RBI) methodology.

Demonstrated experience in baseline inspections and integrity data management.

Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interface with multiple
stakeholders.

Working knowledge of relevant codes/standards: API 510/570/653 ASME VIII AWS D1.1ISO 9712 etc.

Fully aware of oil & gas plant related design documentation and drawings which may
include: 3D model plot plan P&IDs PFDs Line list GA drawings mechanical data
sheets vendor manuals procedures etc.

Preferred:

Professional certifications such as API 510 / 570 / 580 NACE / AMPP or PCN/ISO 9712
Level II/III in relevant NDT methods.

Certification in API 581 API 510 and/or API 570

Proficiency in inspection software tools and digital inspection data platforms

Key Competencies
Strong technical profile with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Excellent communication reporting and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and influence in a multicultural multi-location project environment.
