What you bring to SBHG(Qualifications):
Masters degree or PhD in Social Work Psychology or Marriage Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university
Four (2) years direct service experience with the mentally ill preferably adults and Minimally California BBS licensed waivered as a AMFT ACSW or APCC required. A Valid California Drivers License is preferred.
CPR certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross or obtain certification within 90 days of employment
How you will make a difference(Job Overview):
This position primary responsibility is to assist the Clinical Supervisor in the oversight of the programming and service delivery; acts as a resource for therapists in the documentation of the delivery of therapeutic services; performs diagnostic evaluations; and develops treatment plans; provides therapeutic services. Assists Clinical Supervisor in data collection and CQI efforts; maintains positive relationships with community partners and acts as liaison with the County as designated. This position is responsible for the continued communication with referring parties in reference to referrals waitlists slot availability and program openings. The coordination of case assignments through slot management and emergent needs assessment quality assurance and adhere to specific team/program guidelines is also be assigned to this position. This position may also provide direction in the linkage to client resources through collaboration with internal and external entities. This position will carry a partial case load and provides mental health services (which may include assessment and evaluation) and case management services for clients and their families. Services this position provides may include assessment screening group facilitation individual therapy family therapy collateral sessions and/or consultations. This position may include the supervision of group facilitation by other members of their team. This position may be required to lead and facilitate team meetings as well as function as the Clinical Team representative during ICD meetings and other community partner meetings. This position may be required to provide training to team members in specific programmatic areas (i.e. assessment group facilitation QA processes etc.).

16-bed facilities
Designed for adults with mental health challenges or a recent crisis who need intensive treatment.
24/7 programs as an alternative to urgent care or hospitalization.
Individuals can live on-site in a homelike setting for a short term while they receive counseling and learn basic living and interpersonal skills.
Able to receive physical and psychological evaluation mental health and case management services in addition to assistance locating permanent housing.

In accordance with California law the grade for this position is 68640.00 - 98178.07. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience internal equity and other factors permitted by law.Full-Time
