About the University

Statement: UMAs Nursing Program invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach clinical in our program. UMA has a holistic RN-BSN program which has AHNCC endorsement and started admitting students to the pre-licensure option concept-based curriculum which emphasizes caring science in fall 2019. We seek candidates who demonstrate expertise in evidence-based best practices in teaching nursing a passion for nursing and teaching a commitment to supporting diversity and student success and a desire to join and collaborate with program faculty to implement these practices.

Our teaching facilities include a state-of-the-art simulation center on the Augusta campus and smart classrooms. Responsibilities Include: Teaching mental health theory lab simulation and/or clinical courses in the BSN pre-licensure program in both traditional and non-traditional clinical formats. Additional courses may be taught depending on applicant experience and education.

Salary:The salary range is per credit hour and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
