JOB Maintenance Technician
LOCATION Hampshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARYdependent on experience
My client is a manufacturer in the Oil & Gas industry. They are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team in Hampshire on a permanent basis.
The Maintenance Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
- Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
- Come from a Mechanical background
- Knowledge of Electrical equipment and installations
- Ideally be experienced working with plant equipment / machinery in Oil & Gas Energy or related industries
- Ideally be experienced in Maintenance and Process Operations
- NEBOSH qualification would be beneficial
- Able to work safely and methodically
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team
- A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
The Maintenance Technician role will involve:
- Working in a team to improve and maintain manufacturing machinery
- Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment
- PPM and breakdown avoidance
- Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
- Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
- Working with others and being an excellent team player
