Full Time (Part Time considered)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist. You will be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Degree qualification(s) in Occupational Therapy and a minimum of 1 years experience providing OT support with a focus on best practice and clinical excellence
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience prioritising workloads and managing clients with disabilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development Evidenced Based Practice and measuring clinical outcomes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the team and other service providers
  • Knowledge of confidentiality principles and WHS responsibilities.
  • Valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check Police Check First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
  • NSW Drivers Licence

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

Experience / knowledge in:

  • Providing Occupational Therapy in a childs natural environment (home school or community)
  • Delivering trauma informed care
  • Understanding of the current trends and approaches underpinning the provision of early intervention services to children with a disability
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour support plans
  • Supporting people with mental health issues
