Performance Analytics Manager

What You Can Expect

As the Performance Analytics Manager within ENGIE North Americas Renewable & Flex Power Generation Business Unit you will play a critical role in advancing operational excellence across our growing portfolio of renewable energy assets including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) solar and wind. You will lead a team of data scientists and performance engineers focused on analyzing asset health identifying failure trends and generating actionable insights that directly impact availability reliability and cost efficiency across the fleet.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and managing advanced performance monitoring tools driving data-driven decision-making through custom analytics and partnering closely with site operations teams to guide strategic improvements. From supporting Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) of major equipment failures to informing budget planning and spare parts strategies your work will directly influence the efficiency and uptime of ENGIEs operational assets. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering operations and data platform teams to continuously improve our digital performance landscape.

Reporting to the Director of Performance & Reliability your primary duties encompass:

• Manage and support a team of data scientists and performance engineers dedicated to BESS Solar and Wind technologies
• Develop and maintain tools that monitor over-all performance and availability of operating fleet
• Develop advanced analytics that identify failure modes and provide operations with actionable recommendations
• Perform detailed analysis during RCAs of major equipment failures
• Support analysis needed during budgeting spare parts management and other operations tasks

What Youll Bring

• Minimum of a Bachelors degree in science engineering mathematics or a related field; equivalent certifications or relevant training may be considered
• Minimum of seven (7) years of data analytics or operations experience at power plants
• Experience with data visualization tools and platforms such as Power BI Grafana Databricks etc.
• Strong familiarity with programming languages such as SQL R Python etc.
• Experience working with and creating data architectures
• Basic understanding of electrical equipment and calculations
• Ability to systematically analyze complex problems draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment with a high degree of accuracy
• Proficient in MS OFFICE Excel Word Project Management systems
• Be an action-oriented self-motivator individual who can lead a team work independently and has strong organizational and personal skills

Additional Details

• This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
• Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
• Must possess a valid U.S. drivers license/clean driving record
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Salary Range: $113900 $174570 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal state and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography experience education internal pay alignment or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
