Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
Join Pfizers US Vaccines team to help prevent sickness and disease in our mission to improve public health. This opportunity will support Abrysvo an RSV vaccine for older adults. RSV can be severe with up to 160000 hospitalizations and 10000 deaths annually in the US.
2025 marks the third season of RSV vaccine availability in a competitive environment. Reporting to the Competitive Strategy and Performance Excellence Lead this role involves leading key projects and deliverables for the brand strategy and readiness plan. Ideal for problem-solvers and those who thrive in dynamic settings this position offers exposure to new areas and opportunities to support brand excellence.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Abrysvo OA Brand Strategy Director will work within the marketing team and be accountable for many cross-functional strategic projects to ensure brand success.
- Lead cross-functional BAT team to manage timelines CI and internal brand readiness to ensure data label and competitive readiness for potential changes to ACIP recommendations (Revaccination).
- Lead cross-functional team to scope out timeline and plan to ensure defense readiness for combo competitive entry (potentially in 2027).
- Develop strategic engagement plan to develop market endorsement and uptake of broader year-round vaccination of RSV vaccines for older adults.
- Partner with appropriate stakeholders to develop innovative market development plan test and learn pilots evolving market insights in partnership with IIS to rebuild RSV vaccination market growth.
- Lead US Brand CI efforts in partnership with global colleagues.
- Represent brand as global brand liaison.
- Lead operating plan and forecasting project planning narrative creation for deliver to senior leaders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS required; MBA preferred
- Minimum 8 years professional experience in sales marketing data analytics/insight generation experience is required including US pharma experience
- Established business acumen and pharma industry/vaccines business knowledge
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong preference for experience within US vaccines.
- Demonstrated matrix leadership and ability to foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork
- Demonstrated innovation champion seeks learnings from other brands and other industries to innovate and enhance launch plans
- Comfort with ambiguity and complex white space environments
- Be an active contributor to create and operate in an environment that continuously embraces and encourages the implementation of innovative ideas and fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work on multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency and enthusiasm while prioritizing and meeting team goals
- Demonstrated ability to execute in lightspeed environment as individual contributor as well as gaining support of matrix stakeholders to align with and execute on tactical priorities
- An absolute commitment to adherence to all applicable compliance rules and regulations
