Pay range:

Overlake Hospital is seeking a RN for our Echocardiography and Interventional Units.This nurse will work primarily in Echo and Cardiac Nuclear Medicine supervising stress tests starting IVs and providing contrast administration support. This nurse will ensure that patients are safe to proceed with stress testing and respond to any emergencies that arise once testing has begun. They will work closely with cardiologists and cardiac sonographers to guarantee patients receive a safe and diagnostic-quality study.

As a member of the IR team this RN will also rotate to the Main Imaging department. There they will coordinatepatient schedules with modality technologists (e.g. CT Ultrasound) and interventional radiologists or physician assistant schedules ensuring excellent patient flow throughout thepatients experience in inpatient and outpatient procedures are performed in IR and the IR RN will also coordinate pre and post care for the IR patients.PriorInterventional imaging RN experience is preferred but a minimum of procedural sedation critical care or ED RN experience required. Cardiac experience is highly desired for coverage in CT MRI and Echo.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required BSN preferred
• Current WA state RN license
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification and ACLS
• Minimum of one year working in Interventional Unit
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Note - RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week. This will include standard cardiac rhythms dysrhythmias and paced rhythms.
