Job Description

Team Lead Radiographer - CT & X-Ray

Location: SRG Radiology, Auckland, New Zealand

SRG Radiology, part of the Integral Diagnostics (IDX) group, is a well-established provider of diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services across New Zealand and Australia. We're proud of our dedicated team of radiologists, technologists, and support staff who are committed to delivering excellent patient care.

We're currently looking for an experienced Team Lead Radiographer (CT & X-Ray) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a leadership role and play a key part in maintaining the high standards our patients and referring clinicians rely on.

About the Role

This role is focused on leading our CT and X-Ray team. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of imaging services, supporting your colleagues, and ensuring our patients receive high-quality, safe care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting the CT and X-Ray team to deliver efficient and high-quality imaging services.
  • Managing daily workflow and helping ensure timely, accurate scans.
  • Promoting best practices in patient safety and care.
  • Assisting with training, performance reviews, and ongoing team development.
  • Working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensuring imaging equipment is well maintained and operating safely.
  • Getting involved in service improvements and quality initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
  • MRTB registration and eligibility to work in New Zealand.
  • At least 5 years' experience in CT and general radiography.
  • Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role would be ideal.
  • Strong technical skills, along with excellent communication and people skills.
  • A team player who's passionate about patient care and supporting others.

What's in It for You

  • Competitive salary package and relocation support (if moving to the region)
  • Flexible work options to support work-life balance
  • Ongoing professional development and career progression
  • CPD support, EAP access, and recognition programs
  • Inclusive, welcoming team culture
  • Be part of a respected imaging network across New Zealand and Australia

If you're a skilled radiographer looking to step into a leadership position-or you're already leading and want a fresh challenge-we'd love to hear from you.
