About the Role:-
Our client is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (SDE 3 who can play a pivotal role in architecting designing and scaling the platforms core backend systems. Key Responsibilities:-
- Architect and design high-performance backend systems and services using Java.
- Define the technical direction and backend architecture ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Mentor and lead mid-level/junior engineers through design reviews coding standards and best practices.
- Ensure seamless integration across cloud-based services databases and microservices.
- Own delivery of large modules/features from planning to production.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineering leads for roadmap planning.
What We re Looking For
- 7 years of backend development experience with strong architectural and system design expertise.
- Expertise in Java microservices and distributed system architecture.
- Strong background in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
- Hands-on experience working in a cloud-native environment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Ability to lead technical discussions evaluate trade-offs and make scalable design decisions.
- Previous experience in a high-growth fintech startup or fast-paced product environment.
- Bachelors or Master s Degree in Computer Science from IIT/NIT/BITS or top-tier institutes.
