Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and security-focused DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in deploying managing and monitoring cloud-native applications and CI/CD pipelines across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage containerized application deployments using Docker and AWS ECS (Far gate).
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Bit bucket Pipelines or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild. Experience with Jenkins is a plus.
- Configure and manage AWS services including:
- Amplify for frontend deployment
- Route 53 for DNS
- Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) for traffic distribution
- Integrate Cloud flare for DNS management caching and security layers like WAF and SSL.
- Set up and manage monitoring and observability stacks using:
- Prometheus and Grafana
- AWS CloudWatch
- Configure for error monitoring and assist developers in integrating it with application workflows.
- Work closely with developers to support smooth deployments with a focus on automation scalability and resilience.
- Apply security best practices in all infrastructure and deployment configurations.
- Participate in cloud cost optimization efforts ensuring efficient use of resources.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with AWS IAM security groups and VPC configurations
- Familiarity with serverless frameworks and event-driven architect
