Job Description
- Contribute to the development enhancement and support of RPG applications on AS400.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Participate in code reviews testing cycles and documentation efforts.
- Assist in resolving production issues and ensuring application stability.
- Maintain clean efficient and well-documented code.
- Continuously improve technical skills through mentorship and on-the-job learning
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related discipline.
- 2 years of experience in RPG development with exposure to the AS400 platform (through work projects or internships).
- Familiarity with RPGLE (including Free Form) CL DDS and embedded SQL.
- Understanding of DB2 on AS400 and Query/400.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Exposure to Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
