PURPOSE
The Service Technician provides Plus-One Customer Service to residents of the community. They respond promptly and professionally to all resident service requests focus on attention to detail to ensure an exceptional move-in experience for future residents and provide a clean safe community that residents are proud to call home.
Qualifications :
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes all resident service requests and other assigned tasks promptly and professionally.
Prepares apartment homes for new resident move-ins. Focuses on attention to detail to ensure an exceptional move-in experience for all future residents.
Helps maintain a clean safe and well-stocked maintenance shop. Informs Lead Service Technician and Community Manager of all maintenance needs.
Creates a clean safe community by keeping community grounds clean making any Morguard community one our residents are proud to call home.
Performs Preventative Maintenance in apartment homes.
Works with the Community Manager and Lead Service Technician to achieve community and financial goals.
Attends monthly safety meetings. Complies with all OSHA standards and follows local state and federal laws regarding a safe working environment for all team members and residents.
Understands that maintenance has the most significant impact on resident satisfaction and retention. Helps promote a Culture of Plus-One Customer Service within the maintenance team to ensure all residents have an exceptional living experience.
Serves as a mentor by sharing knowledge coaching and promoting professional growth for all team members.
Ensures emergency needs of residents are addressed through the After-Hours On-Call Program.
Is a team player and helps promote a culture and willingness to go above and beyond. Understands occasionally additional tasks and requests may be asked of them.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 1 year of residential maintenance experience including work orders and makeready turns.
Basic to moderate electrical plumbing HVAC appliance repairs and general maintenance skills.
Minimum EPA Type 1 and 2 Certification; Universal Certification strongly preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Drug test criminal background check and reliable transportation is required.
