Job Description
We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to join our team and take part in the maintenance configuration administration and development of Linux-based database systems.
Main Tasks:
- installation and maintenance on the system (databases)
- handling network problems on Linux systems
- understanding of operation and support on Kubernetes
- monitoring recognising and reacting to problems
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in Linux system administration preferably with Debian.
- Solve non-trivial tasks with the help of scripts in Bash Perl or Python.
- Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.
- git/familiar with gitOps workflows
- Container and Kubernetes Fundamentals
- Designing and operating HA/distributed systems.
- Good knowledge in configuration management/ automation with puppet and/or ansible.
- In-depth knowledge of networking.
- Database fundamentals (MariaDB Redis).
