Job Description

Purpose:

The Clinical Sciences Strategic Operations team is committed to elevating the Clinical Sciences business by propelling ideas into innovative solutions and promoting continuous improvement to pursue Operational Excellence.

This position supports the early development for new innovative solutions for business problems and opportunities. The Manager of Technology and Innovation partners closely with business stakeholders technical resources vendors and cross-functional collaborators to facilitate ideation proof of concept and scale up plans for innovative technology solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

Facilitate the evaluation of global technology solutions and process automation opportunities that drive Clinical Sciences efficiency and compliance.

Continuously improve how technology solutions are conceived developed and implemented.

Utilize a structure for purposeful innovation that challenges current paradigms and reduces time to value.

Collaborate on medium/high-impact projects with limited oversight.

Deconstruct complex opportunities into manageable incremental scopes with a focus on delivering minimum viable solutions and enabling quicker turnarounds through a fail-fast approach.

Continuously plan prioritize and optimize a portfolio of transformative opportunities with a focus on identifying key technological advancements and ensuring alignment with organization goals and priorities to drive impactful outcomes.

Develop and maintain strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships and leverage the intrinsic internal and external network to support our strategies and objectives.

Employ organizational change readiness training and communication to galvanize support for transformational change.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree required. 5 years of relevant industry experience; including 3-5 years in pharmacovigilance clinical development or business operations.
  • Proven track record of delivering results-driven solution development and/or continuous innovation with limited information or support.
  • Ability to break down complex opportunities into manageable incremental steps for effective resolution.
  • Proficient in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams applying and facilitating creative and critical thinking through diverse perspectives and developing innovative solutions to complex opportunities.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational communication skills with demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams driving enthusiasm and engagement to achieve common goals.
  • 3-5 years experience defining and delivering advanced technology solutions using data analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and applications preferred.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation holidays sick) medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. 

  • This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs
