Biochemist

• Experience with design and development of plate-based biochemical or cellular assays using different detection methods (e.g. spectrophotometric radiometric colorimetric fluorescence etc.)
• Experience with HPLC or HPLC-MS based assay technologies or biophysical techniques and instrumentation (e.g. SPR DSF etc.) to measure binding affinity and kinetic parameters
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to advance drug discovery projects in a highly cross-functional environment
• Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of all laboratory activities (notebooks databases).
• Ability to troubleshoot experimental design assay development and/or data analysis.
• Comfort in operating and overseeing maintenance of selected lab equipment.

Qualifications :

• A degree (B.S. or M.S.) in chemistry biology biochemistry or related discipline with laboratory experience in plate-based assay development and execution.
• Preferred experience with HPLC or HPLC-MS based assay technologies or biophysical techniques such as (SPR DSF etc.)
• Highly organized good communication and interpersonal skills and strong computer acumen. 
• Authorization to work in the United States

Additional Information :

Position is full-time Monday-Friday generally 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. but may vary to meet the assay needs; overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point PA are encouraged to apply.
