Job Description
What its all about:
We are seeking a skilled Process Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies especially PowerApps and Power Automate and will be responsible for designing developing automate and optimizing business processes.
Additionally you will leverage your foundational analytics skills for data manipulation and extraction using SQL as well as create insightful dashboards using PowerBI.
Role responsibilities:
- Understand internal processes and optimise them using Microsoft tooling (e.g. Power Automate or Power Apps)
- Query clean join and create tables using SQL language tables
- Works with internal teams to drive value and identify opportunities across the organisation
- Identifies how lean methodologies can improve business process across the organisation
- Collaborating with the internal partners to fully understand business requirements and desired business outcomes
- Defining detailed analytic scope and methodology and creating analytic plans
- Executing on the analytic plans with appropriate data mining and statistical techniques
- Ensuring project delivery within timelines and budget requirements
- Performing quality assurance on data and deliverables by analyst and own deliverables
- Ensuring all project documentation is up to date and all projects are reviewed per analytic plan
- Enhancing existing solutions and approaches by promoting new methodology and best practices in data science field
- Providing subject matter expertise and quality assurance of complex data science projects

- Reports to the Head of Data Science for Internal Clients in Europe
Hybrid work arrangement:
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :

- Extensive experience in data science and analytical functions
- Graduate/Post Graduate degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Quantitative field such as Statistics Mathematics Operational Research Computer Science Economics or engineering or equivalent experience
- Results oriented with strong analytical consultative and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
- Hands-on experience with modern distributed systems including both Hadoop/SQL and Apache Spark
- Hands-on experience with one or more data analytics/programming tools such as R/Python
- Experience in the application of predictive modelling and machine learning technique to business problems
- Experience planning organizing and managing end to end projects with diverse cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate with impact with a senior business audience and experience of having worked in a consulting-like environment and client-facing project roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in payments industry (bank credit reference agencies Fintech) or management-consulting firm.
- Hands on experience on processing extremely large data sets. Knowledge of payment network transactional data is a plus
- Deep understanding of Payments and Banking Industry including Consumer Credit Consumer debit Prepaid Small Business Commercial Co-Brand and Merchant
- Experience building and cultivating teams
- Team oriented collaborative diplomatic and flexible style with the ability to tailor data driven results to various audience levels
- Proven skills in translating analytics output to actionable recommendations and delivery
- Fluency in English
