Job Description

As a Senior CDD Analyst you will be responsible for proactively optimising and managing liaison between the Company and all external customers (UK Police  HMRC  National  Crime  Agency  and  Insolvency  Service)  in  relation  to  lawfully  requested customer account information as required and in collaboration with the External Reporting team.

Reporting to CDD Team Manager you will be part of our Retail AML & RG  team who are responsible for conducting detailed investigation of reports and data to detect known or suspected  potential  money laundering potential responsible gambling risks managing self-exclusion and reviewing customers and incidents where RG or ML triggers are identified or internal thresholds are met.

What you will do

  • The collation and submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the UKFIU Gibraltar FIU and other  relevant  jurisdictions  after  consultation with Group  Money  Laundering Reporting  Officer (MLRO) as required and in collaboration with the External Reporting team.
  • The preparation of evidential packages in support of criminal prosecutions as required by the UK the Gibraltar authorities and other relevant jurisdictions and as directed.
  • Assisting in team QA processes providing feedback on matters with the Team Managers.
  • Maintaining the effective management of the Source of Funds (SOF) and Governance processes.
  • Developing and testing the reports and data which the department relies on for further analysis. 
  • Complete Witness Statements and attending Court as required.
  • Collating information for regulatory reporting and assisting in Complaints management.         

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience of working within an AML/RG environment in the gambling industry.
  • Proven experience of detailed investigative and analytical working practices.
  • Must be detail-oriented and analytical. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with key head office Group Divisional and international colleagues in data gathering to collect the best information and relay findings.
  • Effective teamwork skills and the ability to work together with the team positively and
    constructively.
  • Proficient in MS Office strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables formulas) preferred.
