About the Pediatric Cardiology - Advanced Cardiac Imaging Position
The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Childrens Medical Center (DCMC)isseeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist with additional fellowship training in advanced cardiac imaging to support our rapidly growing team within theTexas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease (TCPCHD). The idealcandidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care leadership and innovationalongside our team ofcardiologists and advanced practice patient care is our primary focus education and research are also encouraged andsupported with access to dedicated research professionals including a statistician research manager and research coordinators. Our practice is located in central Austin providing inpatient and outpatient support for all of centralTexas and beyond.
The position encompasses responsibilities in patient care program development and growth team building safety quality and access for imaging services. This position will work with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and the leadership of the TCPCHD to execute on yearly personal and programmatic goals focused on the fundamentals of extraordinary care. Close collaboration with the Department of Radiology and various departments from UT Health and The University of Texas at Austin are expected and supported. Routine patient care will include: Outpatient clinic inpatient consultation supervision of advanced practice providers and hospital service.
