Role Description:

Job Title: Devops Engineer in Banking Domain

Location: Sarjapur Bengaluru

3 days WFO (Tues Wed Thurs)

Shift Time: 12:30pm - 9:30pm

Overview:

Key Responsibilities: Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts to provision infrastructure configure systems deploy applications and perform repetitive tasks across the development lifecycle. CI/CD Pipelines: Design build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or GitHub Actions to automate testing code integration and deployment processes. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize tools like Terraform or Ansible to manage infrastructure configuration through code enabling repeatable provisioning and scaling. Monitoring and Alerting: Implement monitoring systems to track application performance identify potential issues and trigger alerts for timely troubleshooting. Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to understand requirements identify pain points and collaborate on solutions. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to system failures deployment errors and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills: Programming Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash PowerShell for automation tasks. Configuration Management: Experience with tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet for system configuration management Containerization: Understanding of container technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes Version Control: Expertise in Git for code management System Administration: Basic system administration skills on Linux or Windows platforms DevOps Tools: Familiarity with various CI/CD tools monitoring systems and other relevant DevOps technologies Communication and Collaboration: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
