Are you looking for a fast-paced role where you can make a real impact

Spicerhaart the largest Independent Estate Agent in the UK has an exciting opening for a Fulfilment/Dispatch Operative at our unique in-house print facility at Severalls Business Park Colchester.

What is on offer to you

  • Basic salary of 15238.08 per annum
  • Part time working pattern
    (3 full days per week at 08.30 17.00)

What is the purpose of the Fulfilment / Dispatch Operative

To ensure that customer orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time.

This involves picking packing and preparing items for dispatch as well as maintaining accurate inventory and records.

Responsibilities also include using IT systems for labelling and shipping ensuring compliance with company procedures.

What does a normal day look like

  • Order Fulfilment
    • Picking and packing items according to customer orders.
  • Dispatch Preparation
    • Preparing orders for shipment including creating labels and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with stock takes.
  • Manual Handling
    • Spending extended periods of time on your feet manually handling parcels.
  • Operating Systems
    • Using IT systems for order processing labelling and tracking shipments.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensuring all items are in good condition and packed securely.
  • Adhering to Procedures
    • Following company guidelines and safety protocols.

What do you need to succeed as a Fulfilment / Dispatch Operative

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills The ability to effectively manage your workload is essential.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks when under pressure.
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

The Finer Details

To be eligible to proceed in our recruitment process you will need:

  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK(in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
  • Well need evidence of your right to work in the UK in the form of:
    Passport/Birth Certificate

We will also need

  • Proof of Address
  • National Insurance
