Finance - Senior Accountant/Accountant

THE TEAM

The mission of the Accounting Department is to account for every financial transaction in the general ledger accurately and on time to enable informed decision making.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Sr. Accountant you will support with ensuring the quality and accuracy of all accounting records and general ledger reporting comply with financial reporting standards. THE ROLE

As the Sr. Accountant/Accountant you will:

• Process financial transactions accurately and on time

• Ensure compliance in accordance with accounting policies

• Govern the financial data that builds our financial reporting

• Proactively support in the analysis of accounting implications of material contracts and agreements working collaboratively with business support partners

• Provide analysis and reporting to business partners and executive management

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Sr. Accountant/Accountant has:

• Proven skills certifications education and/or experience in:

  • Accounting in a comparable role

  • CPA designation

• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzias Values and Business and People Leadership principles

• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners

• A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $75000 - $110000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge skills and experience.
