Position Title: Inpatient General Psychiatrist
Location: Orem Utah (Salt Lake City Area)
Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital in partnership with Provo Canyon School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated General Psychiatrist to join our team. Located on a beautiful five-acre campus nearProvo Canyon our hospital has expanded our commitment to mental health offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for adolescents adults and older adults.
Position Overview:
Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital in partnership with Provo Canyon School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated General Psychiatrist to join our team. Located on a beautiful five-acre campus nearProvo Canyon our hospital has expanded our commitment to mental health offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for adolescents adults and older adults.
Position Overview:
- Role:Inpatient General Psychiatrist.
- Patient Population: Mixed Adult & Adolescent inpatient.
- Average Daily Caseload:12-15 patient encounters per day.
- Schedule:Monday Friday daytime hours.
- Weekend Coverage:1:4 Saturday/Sunday in-person rounding.
- Weekday Call:One evening call shift per week by phone only.
- Employment Type:Full-time employed position.
- Additional earnings potential:Optional outpatient ECT or RTC available plus Productivity Bonus Plan.
- Conduct admission evaluations develop treatment plans and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adolescent and adult patients.
- Participate in medical administrative meetings as assigned.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

- Education:M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry.
- Training:Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and/or fellowship program.
- Licensure:Utah medical license in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
