Monthly Call Shifts Required.
The Interventional Radiology Technologist works under the general supervision for the Interventional Radiologist assisting with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures following given protocols.
- Assists the interventional radiologist in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.
- Correctly and accurately utilizes the RIS ORM and/or PACS to access patient information enter charges complete examinations and documents services as required
- Utilizes proper body mechanics in all contacts. Assists team members in patient positioning and transport. Assists with room preparation to facilitate patient turnover.

Minimum Education
Graduate from an Accredited Program in one or more medical imaging modalities as described below.
Minimum Work Experience
Required: 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Preferred: 1 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
