Strategic Planning and Data Analytics Analyst - ONSITE
Location: Norfolk VA.

We are actively seeking an experienced Strategic Planning and Data Analytics Analyst to support the U.S. Department of the Navys U.S. US Fleet Forces Command Fleet Strategy and Engagement Division Fleet to assist with the development communication and assessing the implementation of the Commander U.S. Fleet Forces (USFF) vision and guidance.
This role is contingent upon award.
Work Description:
Support the USFF Command by driving strategic planning efforts including course of action analysis long-term goal alignment and performance metric development. Responsible for synthesizing large data sets and producing analytical reports and plans that inform senior leadership decision-making.
Responsibilities: The Strategic Planning and Data Analytics Analyst will support tasks such as:
- Provide analytical support for USFF strategic planning initiatives
- Develop actionable Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
- Support development and assessment of strategic plans and processes
- Conduct SWOT analyses to evaluate communication and planning effectiveness
- Develop and maintain metrics to evaluate success of strategic communication and planning efforts
- Support development of the Commanders strategic goals and long-term vision
- Maintain classified and unclassified versions of all planning and communication documents
- Coordinate USFF staff input on key planning and decision-making issues
Minimum Requirements:
- Secret security Clearance
- Masters degree or bachelors with 7 years of experience
- 4 years in strategic planning data analysis and project management
- Excel: Advanced data modeling integration visualization and metric tracking
- PowerPoint: Presentation of analytical data and planning outcomes
- Project management expertise with emphasis on Navy programmatic requirements
