Position Summary:
Responsible for starting monitoring and stopping production lines. Setting temperature and level set points as required. Keeps all records of production neat and legible.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Keeps all necessary records for production in a neat and legible manner.
2.
Keeps constant communication with the operators supervisors and other departments to maintain the necessary line flow.
3.
Monitors all facility-wide alarms on Control Room computer.
4.
Responsible for preparing lines for production by filling blanchers dip tanks and pumps with water; starting peelers for warm-up cycles; inserts equipment set point (speed and temperatures) into terminals; starts lines bringing up heat on equipment; starts freezing belts; and monitor lines during warm-up.
5.
Responsible for line control during processing.
6.
Starts evenflows and controls speed to maintain adequate line load; monitors all equipment to maintain the temperatures and speed; starts and stops lines during emergency situations.
Qualifications:
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience
Individual must have at least one year processing experience.
Physical Demand:
Constant: required to sit; use hands to finger handle or feel and talk or hear.
Frequently: lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally: required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl and taste or smell.
