Job Description
Hand Solder Assembler - Elkhart IN
5:30am-3pm Mon-Thurs 6-10 Friday $17
Job Duties:
- The Hand Solder Assembler is responsible for after-wave production of company products by performing to IPC-A-610 standards.
- The Hand Solder Assembler (HSA) job tasks include:
- Following policies procedures and work instructions in Manufacturing Process document specifications.
- Perform work in compliance with IPC-A-610 standards.
- Resolving discrepancies that appear in any assemblies.
- Enter correctly completed production or labor time data on record sheets.
- Work at established standards to ensure optimum efficiency in duties.
- Keep the department equipment and the work area clean and safe.
- Ensure compliance with all policies described in the Employee Handbook.
- Complete any work assignments as determined by the General Manager.
- Data Entry
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and or move up to 25lbs. throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to stand walk bend and stoop.
- Ability to use hands to finger handle and feel.
- Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions in English.
- Highschool education or equivalent
- Basic working knowledge of printed circuit boards
