Job Description
Peterson Cat has a need for a Janitor at our Chico CA location.
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep of the premises.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign the functions to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. Job functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sweep mop and scrub all shop floors.
Empty trash and garbage containers on a daily basis.
Clean and wash walls shop windows door panels and sills.
Clean lint dust oil and grease from shop equipment and benches.
Dust furniture walls machines and equipment.
Arrange boxes material and hand trucks or other industrial equipment in a neat and orderly manner.
Clean and maintain the wash bay areas.
Other duties may be assigned to maintain cleanliness for the service department.
Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures laws policies and rules.
Maintain punctual regular and predictable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED; and good previous work record.
The pay rate for this position is: $20.00. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.
