Job Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform responsible human support provide behavioral support and assist student with disabilities with achieving established goals and with personal care and mobility
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- CNA License preferred
ESSENTIAL TASKS:

- Assisting students with toileting
- Lift move and operate adaptive equipment.
- Assist student with personal care tasks including but not limited to lavatory clothing hygiene diapering toileting and wash-up routines.
- Escort and monitor student as assigned by teacher or administrator.
- Assist student with mobility needs such as lifting and positioning student lifting in and out of wheelchair; loading and unloading on and off the bus; transporting student in and around the school and on field trips.
- Escort and monitor student during assigned periods within a variety of school environments for the purpose of maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
- Provide programmed practice activities and repetitions as developed by teacher therapist or pathologist.
- Report student concerns directly and expeditiously to teacher or administrator and assist with student resolution.
- Assist with breakfast lunch snack and any other activities that may involve food and/or drink and to include clean-up.
- Maintain various records and files.
- Perform related work as required by the teacher or administrator to provide a staff and positive learning environment for the student.
