Job Description
We are looking for a versatile individual to join our food production team as a Machine Operator. This role requires the ability to work flexible schedules and encompasses a broad range of tasks from machine setup and troubleshooting to precise recipe execution.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and troubleshoot production machinery.
- Ensure efficient operation and adherence to packaging quality control and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Understand and follow Food Safety policies and FDA guidelines.
- Accurately read understand and execute recipes managing ingredient batches with digital scales.
- Collaborate across departments and report any food safety or quality issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Experience in operating and maintaining food production machinery.
- Familiarity with food safety policies GMP allergen controls and SQF requirements.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in mathematical skills and bilingual abilities are beneficial.
This position is designed for someone with a strong background in food production and machinery operation committed to safety quality and flexibility in meeting the dynamic demands of the food industry.
