Essential Functions
May serve as a coordinator for a group of courses or be the lead instructor for a course or courses with the program. Develops and implements the course syllabus according to the program curriculum plan and SCC policies in cooperation with other faculty. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students faculty members and college employees feel welcomed valued and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Support the Colleges policies and programming related to access fair employment and equal opportunities for all.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in Surgical Technology from a CAAHEP -accredited program demonstrating yearly progress toward a Baccalaureate degree in Health Science Allied Health or Education. Current Certified Surgical Technologist. Two years of surgical scrubbing experience in the last five years. Current member of the Association of Surgical Technologists. Maintain health requirements for clinical sites. Certified in CPR .
