Manager, Portfolio, Business & Data Analyst

What is the opportunity

A progressive opportunity that will offer exposure to many sides of running the Direct Investing business. Working in startup environment you will bridge many gaps bringing solutions to life. You will be involved in the ideation of solutions managing the intake of an active portfolio of initiatives and BAU work. You will be accountable for retrieving analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for business will create dashboards and reports helping the organization understand operational trends opportunities and challenges. You will facilitate and gather requirements from partners to convey them to the technical teams.

What will you do

• Find a better way of doing things including data visualization of business trends

• Translator of business requirements to actionable instructions for the technology teams.

• Leads project/initiatives testing and execution for the team.

• Develops implementation plans and stakeholder representative for large projects

• Investigate trading and operational issues pertaining to data owned

• Effectively size out effort and value for intake items with team members stakeholders and business partners

• Prioritize and decipher requirements for ad-hoc requests and co-ordinate the execution to specifications.

What do you need to succeed

Must haves:

• Data Analysis. Understanding of Relational Databases.

• Working knowledge of SQL

• Business Analyst experience

• Process automation experience

• Growth mindset

Nice-to-have:

• knowledge Direct Investing systems for trading and operations

• Proficiency with snowflake. Sage Maker and Python skills

• CSC (Canadian Securities Course)

• Knowledge of IT best practices for support and build
