Ottawa Public Library (OPL) provides accessible innovative library and information services throughout the city of Ottawa that meet the unique needs of diverse communities delivered through facility mobile and virtual channels.
As the Program Development Librarian focusing on food literacy youll be responsible for planning coordinating and implementing in-person hybrid and/or virtual programs workshops series and other activities focused on cooking and food literacy. Your main portfolio will involve overseeing the librarys demonstration kitchen to foster community learning and engagement around food. Also you oversee financial resources related to assigned activities within an approved budget envelope.
Masters degree in library and/or information sciences from an accredited library school.
6 months of related experience working with community partners and supporting the planning coordination and implementation of public programming.
