The Benefit Program Division of the Department of Health and Wellness provides evidence-based research policy analysis strategic planning program design monitoring and evaluation to support the provision of drug dental optometry prosthetic and other non-drug insured government programs and services. We work closely with our federal provincial and territorial partners to ensure the best possible product listing agreements. We develop legislation provincial policy standards and guidelines that are responsive to the changing health needs of Nova Scotians and aligned with the overall strategic vision and mission of the Department.
The Program Support Coordinator is responsible to support the ongoing listing of new drugs and technologies in relation to pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance and provincial drug listing agreements with pharmaceutical manufacturers. The Program Support Coordinator is also responsible to assist in the delivery and administration of new and existing programs and program benefits in relation to contracts operations and administration relative to a broad range of Pharmacare programs Extended Health Benefit programs and Formulary management.

You have a bachelors degree with one years experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Pay Grade: PR 06- PR 10
Salary Range: $1924.95- $2760.42Bi-Weekly
