About the Role
As a Retail Assistant at WHSmith you will be responsible for:
- Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Processing purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Replenishing stock merchandise displays and ensuing the store is clean and well presented.
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and offering recommendations.
The Successful Candidate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Prior experience in a fast paced retail environment.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Availability to work 1 weekend shift per week and early morning shifts or evening shifts throughout the week.
