Job Description
MRI Technologist Travel Contract
We are seeking a MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Beverly MA 01915.
Job Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2592 - $2772
Shift:
- Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays: 6:30 PM 3:00 AM
- Saturdays: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI exams using GE and Philips MRI systems.
- Position patients correctly and ensure appropriate coil placement.
- Screen patients for safety and contraindications to MRI procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and complete all documentation in a timely manner.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to patient needs.
- Practice radiation safety and adhere to infection control policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment and exam rooms.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize imaging outcomes.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Education:
-
Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (required).
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with GE and Philips MRI systems.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting.
Certifications & Licensure:
- ARRT(MR): Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (required).
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) from AHA or equivalent (required).
